Purpose  

Transitions provide project management support to the wider JLL business, coordinating handover activities for the seamless transfer of assets to and from JLL management.  

This role is crucial for ensuring service continuity and effective risk management for clients, occupiers, employees, and suppliers across JLL. This role drives operational excellence and ensures an exceptional service that distinguishes JLL as an industry leader. 

What this job involves  

A Transition Project Coordinator will manage and successfully deliver multiple concurrent transition projects. They will maintain meticulous and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and easily accessible. 

Key accountabilities. 

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. 

Define project scope, monitor risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders. 

Organise and lead internal project meetings, and client as necessary, capturing requirements and action items. 

Develop and oversee project plans, tracking milestones and deliverables. 

Delegate tasks within teams and set deadlines for timely completion. 

Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders. 

Monitor progress, escalate issues when needed, and prepare regular status updates. 

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's structure, roles, processes, and accountabilities related to transition activities. 

Ensure Transitions tools, processes and documentation are maintained accurately, and projects are consistently managed with the satisfactory level of detail. 

Conduct project reviews and document lessons learned, including areas for improvement in future projects and wider transitions processes.   

Support fellow Project Coordinators with administrative tasks and team controls to ensure accurate reflection of KPIs. 

Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to facilitate smooth property transitions and project delivery, working collaboratively with other business lines and operational teams. 

  

Desired skills and experience for this job  

PRINCE2, equivalent project management qualification or direct project management experience required. 

Ability to lead and adapt to the requirements of multiple projects and resolve problems 

Strong written and oral communication skills 

Assign and manage own workload and independent time management. 

Excellent interpersonal skills, able to promote open, constructive, and collaborative relations at all levels. 

Ability to work under pressure, multitask and effectively prioritise. 

Adept at understanding business requirements quickly and easily. 

Committed to excellent customer services, actively seeking opportunities for improvement. 

Able to apply common sense, be flexible and adaptable to change and take ownership. 

Experience in the property sector an advantage, but not essential.
