This position exists to direct and coordinate continuity of programming as MSOP clients move from MSOP facilities to Provisional Discharge. This position is responsible for evaluating and implementing new and innovative approaches to each client’s transition including housing, employment, personal finance, transportation and more to maximize clients’ opportunities for successful community reintegration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Providing case management services to clients preparing for or who have a current order for provisional discharge. + Work with interdisciplinary team members to create service programs that are optimally efficient and effective. + Serve as a liaison between MSOP, community organizations, and other government agencies as needed. **Minimum Qualifications** Two (2) years of experience that demonstrates the following: + Experience developing and maintaining relationships with State, County and Federal Government agencies, advocacy groups, community representatives and the general public. + Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing sufficient to conduct classroom training or deliver presentations to a diverse audience including legal community, law enforcement, medical professionals, client and victim advocates, social services entities, housing and treatment providers, clients etc. + Advanced understanding of transition and/or facility re-entry programs for clients who have engaged in sexually abusive behaviors, community supervision, and best practices. + Problem solving skills sufficient to establish transition or reintegration program direction, identify potential problems and issues, and involve appropriate internal and external resources to accomplish goals, and to assist individuals in meeting goals for release preparation and developing personal skills and resources. *Note a Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, corrections, law enforcement or related field may substitute for 6 months of professional experience* **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous experience organizing or coordinating events such as facility Transition Fairs, Mock Job Fairs, creating transitional curriculum etc. + Our employees are dedicated to ensuring cultural responsiveness.
