Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales & Strategic Account Management and as an integral part of Questel’s Sales Team, this client-facing role will be responsible for generating new business leads, selling to, and maintaining client base, and meeting company-wide growth goals through increased revenues.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Price and quote client estimates in order to win new projects while maintaining standard profit marginsAggressively pursue new business opportunities via outbound outreach with both prospective and existing clients, by proactively identifying client needs and additional opportunities
Accurately convey client demands and requests to the operations management team
Research new avenues of business and leads in order to increase sales numbers
Collaborate with marketing on ideas for conference attendance and promotional items
Meet minimum first-year quota based on start date (pro-rated from 500k) and all quotas established thereafter
Regularly report progress of clientele and sales team to the Vice President of Business Development
Consult with team to follow up with customers and identify new qualified leads
Maximize Questel’s share of client spend
Actively develop client base through research, prospecting, lead generation, and referrals
Understand key competitors and how our service offering can provide a superior experience to our clients
Maintain sales records and contact management accurately, effectively, and in a timely manner
Prepare and communicate project estimates, quotes, and proposals within a given timeframe
Respond to inbound new sales inquiries in a timely and service-oriented manner
Consult project managers for job details and project goals
Build sustainable relationships with clients through open and interactive communication
Provide an exceptional client experience through continuous contact and follow through
Deliver onsite client and prospect presentations
Act as back up to sales team members by answering sales inquiries, if needed
Represent the company and its services at selected trade shows
Responsible for setup, takedown, and maintenance of display and booth in exhibit halls
Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree required or any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Legal sales experience a plus
Legal translation sales experience a plus
Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Solid understanding, knowledge, and skills in sales techniques and practices
Leadership skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, lead teams and partners through the sales cycle
Proficient in MS Office
Able to qualify, identify, and clarify client needs through effective questioning and listening
Able to analyze and synthesize information and evaluate external client needs as they correlate to company services
Able to achieve or exceed sales quotes
Able to maintain, strengthen, and develop client relationships
Fluency in English required, fluency in a foreign language a plus
Participate in a culture of responsiveness to strengthen relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected
