What can you expect?

As a Translator, you will provide linguistic advice concerning relevant documents.

Review translation drafts to ensure relevant terminology is correct in syntax, spelling, and meaning and is culturally acceptableEnsure translation of technical terms and terminologies are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisionsPerform other duties in line with the scope of work and as assigned

We will count on you to:

Translate project materials such as presentations, documents, policies, and articles ensuring that all required project deliverables are available in English and Arabic languages when required and are fully formattedReview required material and developed and review Arabic/English versions, ensuring that the context of the original text source is retainedMaintain a library of reference terms and periodicals to remain abreast of terminology in the consulting industry

What you need to have: 

Bachelor’s degree in Translation, interpreting, or in any relevant field2 – 4 years of experience in the translation field, preferably within a consulting firmFluency in both English and Arabic language, any additional languages would be a plusExcellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errorsFamiliarity with CAT Tools (Trados)Time-management skills
