Transmission Line Analyst
Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or Business degrees preferred)Master’s or advanced degree is a plus Knowledge of project management or process flows is a plus. Knowledge of bulk electric transmission contracts, federal and state regulations of electric utilities, power systems operations, transmission planning, wholesale marketing, Generator Interconnections/Qualifying Facilities, and/or engineering economics is a plus Ability to understand and interpret regulatory orders, agreements, and contractual language Demonstrated customer-focused mindset and ability to build effective relationships with peers and customers, as well as resolve customer issues -Demonstrated attention to detail and strong motivation for quality, accuracy and timeliness Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to be successful in this position Strong organizational skills with ability to balance multiple assignments and responsibilities Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, specifically Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerBI, is a plus.Review contracts to prevent potential disputes and financial risks.Analyzing contract clauses, stipulations, obligations, and liabilities.Recommend and draft contract provisions and amendments.Review supplier contract terms and conditions.There will be extensive interpretation of contractual requirements, collaborating on contractual amendments with internal departments, and negotiating contract terms and conditions.Negotiate contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement with other parties.Ensure contract terms comply with legal requirements and policies.Advise internal departments on innovative and cost-effective ways to comply with contractual obligations.Document processes and maintain files, and update amendments to contract law.

 Approximately 2 days a week of working hours to be remote and candidate must live within commuting distance the additional 3 days will be in office
