**Transmission Line Design Production Supervisor (East)** _This position will be located in Forest Park, GA (Metro Atlanta)_ **JOB SUMMARY** This position is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and direction for a Transmission Line Design team within the Engineering Department of the Technical and Project Solutions group. The Transmission Line Design Department is responsible for the engineering, design, and coordination of transmission line projects. This position will also support construction activities, assist in resolving operational or maintenance problems/issues, and serve as a resource in emergency restoration of failed equipment. This position will be responsible for projects in the State of Georgia, including some associated with the Integrated Transmission System (ITS) participants. **JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Create a safe work environment through total personal commitment to safety + Lead the activities of the Transmission Line Design group to ensure all projects are designed to achieve greatest total value to Southern Company utilizing Southern Company Transmission standards.
