Job Title: Transmission Line Engineer Location: Orlando Florida Description: Actalent is looking for a Transmission Line Engineer to lead the Power Delivery Team in Florida, primarily supporting projects with Duke, FPL (Nextera), and Tampa Electric. Responsibilities: + Lead the overall technical direction of projects. + Provide scope and schedule support to the Project Manager, including work breakdown structure development, change management, and schedule management. + Support budget management for proposal development, progress assessment, and change management. + Lead multiple projects concurrently, utilizing teams in different locations. + Implement internal and client management system requirements, processes, and procedures to deliver a high-quality product. + Support scheduling and perform quality reviews for all deliverables. + Participate in quality control or project reviews for peers and other project teams. + Coordinate with operations leaders and Project Manager for resource planning and management. + Work independently and may direct, mentor, train, and/or supervise Engineers, Designers, and administrative staff. + Independently coordinate the work of engineers and the team throughout the project life cycle. + Engage in mentoring/training relationships with junior engineers or designers. Preferred Qualifications: + PE or EIT certification. + Experience in structure analysis, project cost estimates, plan and profile preparation, load and designs, specifications and drawings, permitting, and other engineering documents. + Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
