Primary Responsibilities
HDR, Ann Arbor, Michigan location, is looking for a Transmission Line Intern to join our team of professionals in a rapidly growing and nationally ranked company dedicated to engineering excellence.
The selected candidate will be a current student or recent graduate with little to no power delivery experience. In this position you will be expected to:
Perform tasks with varying levels of complexity, which are assigned by a Project Engineer, Project Leader, or Project Manager.Tasks will include being able to follow direction, assisting engineers in preparing design packages, performing simple calculations, attending internal meetings and participating in field reviews.Preferred QualificationsPrefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPADemonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industryCourses in Power/Energy a plusExperience with computer-aided design programs (AutoCAD, Micro station, etc.) is desired but not required for consideration.#LI-LA1
