Transmission Standards Engineer
Job Title: Remote Transmission Standards Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Standards Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: Transmission Lines, Civil/Structural Engineering, Foundations and Framing, or Environmental Engineering in the power generation field.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and update engineering standards and specifications to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure standards are integrated into project designs and implementations.

Conduct technical evaluations and provide recommendations for materials, methods, and practices.

Ensure all engineering activities comply with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.

Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.

Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes.

Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure standards remain relevant and effective.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of experience developing standards in the power utilities field.

Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: Transmission Lines, Civil/Structural Engineering, Foundations and Framing, or Environmental Engineering.

Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69
