Transmitter Mechanical Engineer

Are you looking for a great opportunity in Boulder, Colorado? We have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer who is eager to grow with our company here at Emerson. In this role you will work with other Engineers and suppliers to plan, develop, and support Coriolis products. Design updates and improvements will be led by this role to support operations, resolve supply constraints, and improve product performance.
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Create, edit, and maintain 2-D drafting, 3-D modeling, and 3-D assembly support on behalf of the Technology department. Create or modify product documentation to support marketing and approval requirements. Create Engineering Change Orders within the data management system. Create bills of material and part specifications Work with other departments and external suppliers to validate designs and drawings as needed. Support multiple business groups in the operation and scheduling of equipment (e.g., 3D printers, supplier prototypes, test chambers) Design and implement tagging and labeling standards in manufacturing. Effectively present information to peers and project teams.    Who You Are:

    For This Role, You Will Need: BS in Mechanical Engineering. An ABET accredited engineering degree preferred. 0-2+ years experience mechanical engineering role Understanding of industrial materials Solid communication and organizational skills  Proficient communicating via Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Sharepoint) Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: CAD software expertise - working with NX and Teamcenter is a plus Good working knowledge of part fabrication and manufacturing practices/processes and ability to apply that knowledge to part or assembly design Electro-mechanical packaging experience Training/coursework in GD&T  Our Offer To You:

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $76,295-87,747 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
