Transparency Compliance Analyst

JOB OVERVIEW:

Our organization is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our Corporate Compliance team. In this role, your primary function is to oversee daily business operations and help ensure transparency compliance under the federal Sunshine Act and other state applicable laws and policies. Managing the day to day operation of the aggregate spend transparency solution to assure all data is accurate and complete. This involves performing internal monitoring, audits, documenting business process outliers, and providing training documents or information to employees. It is essential to document any issues and respond to any internal requests from team members. You must also stay up-to-date with specific time-sensitive tasks such as HR employee data changes and help transition ongoing tasks as seamlessly as possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Ability to operationalize and understand laws specific to our business modelOversee business operations to ensure transparency and compliance with specific lawsAssist with daily monitoring inquiries or auditsPerform data analytics based on spreadsheets and transparency softwareLog and track issues into our database and/or notify business leaders if necessaryReview current business processes and document changes in work instructionsCommunicate effectively with management on all daily inquiriesProvide training and informational materials to employees when necessaryStay up-to-date on time-sensitive tasks such as transaction reviews, HR changes


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

The role requires a background in compliance, legal, business or finance analytics, data administration, financial accounting analytics or related work experience.Analytical and Problem-solving ability.Strong verbal and written communication. Must be organized, detail-oriented, interpersonal, customer service skills.Must be able to able to exercise solid judgment and assess risk.Bachelor’s Degree minimum requirement in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics 

GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: 

Basic understanding of industry practicesGeneral proficiency with tools, systems, and proceduresBasic planning/organizational skills and techniquesGood decision making, analysis and problem solving skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsBasic presentation and public speaking skillsBasic interpersonal skillsDeveloping professional credibility

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $57,550-$95,445 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
