Transport Compliance Manager

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Transport Compliance Manager to join our team in Avonmouth, supporting our Coop contract. You will oversee all transport/fleet compliance matters across a large fleet, ensuring excellence in vehicle maintenance, operational efficiency, and compliance with all relevant legal and safety regulations.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:00. However, we do ask for some flexibility due to this being a 24/7 operation. This is logistics, after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

Support the Transport Manager with fleet management such as vehicle maintenance, EU driver’s hours legislation, tachograph data processing etc Ensure safety legislation is adhered to and safe working practices are always adopted Regular assessment of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness – post incident and repair Driving License, CPC and DQC periodic checks and follow-ups

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

International CPC holder and IOSH is essential for this role Experience managing budgets and driving financial performance and accountability through direct reports Ability to hold Investigation and Disciplinary Meetings to a high standard Experience in covering for senior leader (General Manager) Proven ability to implement strategies for improved performance and efficiency
