Responsibilities

The incumbent will perform collaborating with various parties to support the daily logistics/distribution operations.

What you will do

\n\n\n

Collaborate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams on movement of shipments in accordance with delivery schedules. 

\n\n\n

Plan optimal transportation routes to minimize transit times and costs.  

\n\n\n

Prepare and maintain accurate transportation-related documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and delivery confirmation. 

\n\n\n

Optimize load consolidation to maximize vehicle capacity and reduce transportation costs.  

\n\n\n

Monitor on-time delivery, transit times and delivery accuracy.  

\n\n\n

Liaise with customers to provide shipment status updates.

\n\n\n

 

Requirements\n\n

Good to have 1-2 years of experience in fleet management and transportation coordination

\n\n\n

Candidates with internship experience are welcome to apply

\n\n\n

Familiar with route optimization software and transportation management systems (TMS). 

\n\n\n

Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers, carriers and drivers 

\n\n\n

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

\n\n\n

Able to work in a fast-paced environment  

\n\n\n

Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance will have an added advantage. 

\n\n\n

Class 2B or Class 3 driving license is preferred but not mandatory

\n\n\n

Comfortable working at 1 Greenwich Drive

\n\nAble to work 5.5days work week, rotating half Saturday or Sunday \n
