Transport Manager Job ID 194849 Posted 21-Nov-2024 Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management, Property Management Location(s) Chennai - Tamil Nadu - India Key Responsibilities: + Operational Management: + Oversee daily transportation operations within TN and KL regions. + Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. + Monitor and manage OTA, OTD, SU, and No-Show rates to meet SLAs. + Implement strategies to improve service performance and reduce delays. + Compliance and Safety: + Ensure all transportation activities comply with EV norms and regulations. + Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. + Monitor driver qualifications, training, and compliance with safety standards. + Maintain accurate records of vehicle and driver compliance. + Fleet Management: + Manage the fleet of vehicles, ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance. + Coordinate EV trips and ensure adherence to environmental standards. + Implement cost-effective measures to enhance fleet efficiency. + Team Leadership: + Supervise and support a team of drivers and logistics personnel. + Conduct regular training sessions on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. + Foster a positive and productive work environment. + Reporting and Analysis: + Generate and analyze reports on transportation performance metrics. + Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. + Report on compliance status and address any issues promptly.
