Job Summary

The primary purpose of the position is to safely transport students who are required to travel between campus sites or to other locations to fulfill their work and school related obligations.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The duties include, but are not limited to:

Always communicate with Supervisor for directives, driving assignments, van keys and phone/radio. Complete Van Inspection Sheet (oil, windshield wiper, brake, anti-freeze and transmission fluids) at beginning of each shift. Be on time for all pick-ups and drop-offs. Only drop-off and pick-up students at the designated locations. Clean vehicles at end of shift for next shift. Designated attire will be worn clean, pressed, and properly  maintained in its entirety. Professionalism will NOT be compromised. Other duties as designated by Supervisor. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of applicable transport and safety codes. Minimum Qualifications Must have a valid driving license. Punctuality is a must. Amicable and optimistic disposition. Ability to work flexible hours. Possess a safe driving record. First Aid training is preferred. Wilberforce University
