Transportation and Crisis Supervisor
  SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Child and Adolescent Group Services (CAGS) Director, the Transportation and Crisis Supervisor works with CAGS staff and family members/caregivers of CAGS clients to ensure collaboration and communication between the treatment providers and the family members/caregivers. This position will also oversee all aspects of transportation for clients enrolled in CAGS. This position will provide education, consultation, case coordination, and symptom management and monitoring and will bill TBS services as needed. Services take place in the office, home, school, and the community.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES:   + Accept assignment of cases for clients enrolled in CAGS to provide TBS services including, but not limited to: + Conduct treatment plan development and reviews of clients assigned to TBS. + Crisis work – providing assistance and support in crisis situations (floating throughout the building and providing individual support) utilizing the Therapeutic Crisis Model of Intervention, including use of physical restraints as necessary, to protect clients from risk of harm to themselves and/or others while at CAGS. + Support, including education and consultation for families and/or significant others regarding the client’s mental illness. + Assist in increasing social support skills and networks. + Coordinate necessary evaluations and assessments, including referral and linkage to other healthcare, behavioral health care, and non-health care services to avoid more restrictive levels of treatment. + Necessary follow-up to determine if services are adequately meeting the needs of the client. + Access to resources in the community. + Serve as the primary contact with family members and ensure understanding and communication of CAGS program expectations, interventions, and clinical goals. + Assist with CAGS groups as needed. + Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of routes including, but not limited to: + Assign staff to routes per transportation standards and fill in on routes when program needs require it. + Supervise and enforce van log compliance for all program staff and CAGS Drivers. + Oversee appropriate use of gas credit cards. + Coordinate routes that ensure the safe transportation of all clients within necessary time frames. + Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and care managers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times for all clients. + Assign transportation responsibilities to program staff in a fair manner that ensures safety and compliance with transportation standards. + Coordinate unexpected changes in client pick-up and drop-off locations. + Coordinate the safe transportation of clients in the event of vehicle break downs on route. + Remain at work until all routes return safely each evening and lock up all keys. + Collaborate with Facilities staff to ensure that all CAGS vehicles receive routine maintenance, including vehicle cleaning. +   Facilitate monthly meetings with all CAGS Drivers. + Ensure that each van is equipped with a First Aid kit, insurance information, and van log. + Obtain and maintain status as a CPR/ First Aid Instructor and ensure staff members are current on CPR/ First Aid. + Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. + Make personnel decisions related to hiring and firing and complete performance reviews of CAGS Drivers and PRN Youth Specialists. +   Work a schedule that includes evenings Monday through Friday, except during seasonal program daytime hours.   OTHER DUTIES:   + Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training, including TCI/CPR/FA, and maintain licensure. + Contribute to the development and maintenance of Agency records through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. + Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. + All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material. + Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures. + Other duties as assigned by management.     QUALIFICATIONS: + Education : Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. + Licensure : N/A + Skills/Competencies : + Core Expertise: Possess skill, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties of their role;
