**The Opportunity:**
As a CACI Transportation and Logistics Expert you will support the US Army North G5 Future of Homeland Defense Project in solving future problems that may face the nation out to the year 2040. US Army North requires subject matter expertise to provide transportation and logistical analyses, assessments and findings in direct support of the Future of Homeland Defense project (FHD). You will incorporate inputs and participate in collaborative planning efforts and events with staff representatives from Army North, US Special Operations Command - North, United States Special Operations Command, Army Futures Command, HQDA, TRADOC, Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and subject matter experts from academia and private industry.
**Responsibilities:**
Other duties include but are not limited to:
+ Plan, develop and integrate transportation and logistical assessments, concepts, and recommendations in direct support of the command’s FHD initiatives.
+ Analyze potential obstacles and devise proactive strategies to mitigate risks.
+ Support the development of ARNORTH organizational initiatives according to departmental plans and Government policies.
+ Create a framework for the integration of transportation and logistical options into Wargame activities to identify best practices.
+ Produce written outlines, narratives, visual concepts, planning materials, and timelines in support of FHD requirements.
+ Support the comprehensive management of project timelines, resource allocation, and scheduling of critical milestones.
+ Work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of the ARNORTH FHD team.
**Qualifications:**
_Required:_
+ Must have a current Secret clearance and eligible for TS/SCI.
+ Minimum of Master’s degree and 15+ years of relevant work experience.
+ Experience planning and leading transportation and/or logistical operations and activities at the Army Brigade, Division or Corps levels.
+ Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real or near real time knowledge management systems.
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Strong attention to detail.
_Desired:_
+ Experience supporting Army or Joint organizations in a deployed environment.
+ Experience serving on the Army, Joint or Office of Secretary of Defense staffs.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$65,900 - $145,200
