Job Title: Transportation Construction Manager

Job Description

The primary duties of the Sr. Construction Manager are to assist in pursuing projects with various public agencies and, once contracts are underway, to technically and administratively represent a project owner throughout construction on a variety of public and quasi-public infrastructure projects.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in pursuing projects with various public agencies.Represent project owners technically and administratively throughout construction.Manage a variety of public and quasi-public infrastructure projects.Oversee construction contracts, document management, time management, cost management, quality management, change management, and site safety.Estimate, bid, prepare and administer purchase orders and subcontracts.Handle scheduling and cost control.Interact with the Owner, Engineer, Contractor, and other project stakeholders.Essential SkillsProfessional Engineer (PE) certification.Minimum of 15 years of related experience in highway and bridge projects, transit, rail grade separations, or other transportation-related projects.Successful business development track record.Experience with Caltrans or similar DOT work.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience with Microsoft Office.Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, and Bluebeam.Additional Skills & QualificationsSouthern California experience is preferred.Strong people skills.Ability to interact with various project stakeholders.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $250000.00 - $300000.00/yr.
