Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Transportation Coordinator. Responsibilities: * Assist in daily communication with carriers including articulating booking instructions as required * Maintain updated transportation costs in the AS400 and Routing Guide * Assist in investigating, negotiating, and processing claims related to transportation * Assist in day to day transportation issues that arise and work with the customer to resolve issues * Collaboratively work with accounts payable to audit freight payments and carrier billing accuracy * Maintain AS400 distribution and logistics modules including but not limited to, daily shipment processing * Excel - Intermediate * Tracking and Tracing shipments * Communicating with their BIS customers and their China team * Communicate with the various departments within BIS * Tracking shipments at the port moving to rail * Working with the ocean carrier for stalled shipments * Advise sailing departures/arrivals to customers * Ensure cargo is picked up from the port and rails timely
