Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with TDOT, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project solutions. As the Discipline Lead for Tennessee, you will cultivate a high-performing team of transportation engineers and technical staff.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.Collaborate with TDOT, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project solutions.Serve as the Discipline Lead for Tennessee, cultivating a high-performing team of transportation engineers and technical staff.Work closely with the established transportation groups at all locations, fostering collaboration, allocating staff, sharing best practices, and contributing to the collective knowledge base of the firm.Define and execute strategies for team growth and project excellence, aligning with company objectives and client needs.Establish and cultivate relationships to position the company as a leader in the transportation sector.Drive innovation in transportation engineering practices to optimize project outcomes and deliver sustainable solutions.Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of project delivery and client satisfaction.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee.A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in transportation engineering is preferred.Proven track record in project management and team leadership.Additional Skills & QualificationsCivil engineeringRoadway designTransportation engineeringExperience as a Roadway DesignerWork Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $45.67/hr.
