What You'll Do:

Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.Supports engineering teams with various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

What You'll Bring:

A passion for innovation and problem-solving, with a desire to tackle challenges in advanced mobility, including electric vehicles (EV), connected and automated vehicles (CV/AV), and smart transportation systems.Curiosity and adaptability, with a self-motivated drive to explore emerging technologies and deliver innovative solutions.Excellent technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in tools like Esri ArcGIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and programming languages such as Python or R.Effective communication and collaboration abilities, including technical writing and the capacity to build strong client and team relationships.A focus on sustainability, with knowledge of carbon reduction strategies, GHG calculations, and performance metrics to support alternative fuel transportation initiatives.A results-driven mindset, demonstrated by delivering high-quality work within budgets and schedules.A desire for continuous learning, staying up to date on the latest trends in this space.Leadership potential and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute positively to team dynamics and client engagements.

What We Prefer:

Master’s degree in Engineering or 3 years relevant experienceEngineer in Training (EIT) certification and desire to attain Professional Engineer (PE) certificationStrong leadership skills and ability to build relationshipsMust be curious and self-motivated with a strong work ethicStrong technical writing skillsOhio DOT experienceEmerging technology; CV, AV, EV, and AAM solutionsBackground in carbon reduction, GHG calculations, and performance measurementExperience with programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic, Python, R, SQL, MATLAB)Knowledge and experience using CADD Software, such as MicroStation or AutoCADKnowledge and experience using GIS Software, such as Esri ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap or QGISKnowledge and experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau

The approximate pay range for Ohio is $64,787.11 - $97,180.67. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
