DESCRIPTION
If you are looking for a civil engineering summer internship program to build your professional foundation which places you in the middle of challenging and exciting public sector projects within the Puget Sound Region, KPFF’s Transportation Engineering Internship program is where you want to be. Interns are active members on real projects with engaged team members ready to share their professional experience as you work together. Interns work on real projects and develop solutions and skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Each internship is unique and rewarding.
The Transportation Group delivers design projects largely in the public realm, including roadways, mass transit, habitat restoration, trails, bridges, stormwater and utilities. We deliver solutions to communities and the public. In order to make the experience as beneficial as possible, we hire interns at certain levels in their college careers. Students are typically in their junior year or above to be considered for the Transportation Engineering Internship.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Current enrollment in a BSCE program
· Completion of junior year by the start of 2025 summer internship
· Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals
· Effective written and verbal communication
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Strong technical and organizational abilities
