Role Summary:
Partner with our breweries around the globe to ship our products to Canada on time and in full. Support the financial processes by ensuring invoices are complete according to established timelines and in adherence to company policies. Ensure our end-to-end transport and logistical route to the market are always optimized, yielding the right balance between service and costs.
Duties:
Supervising, planning, training, and assigning the work of staff engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories of materials; processing purchasing transactions; coordinating production work; and other related activities Responsible for Supply Chain Operational & Tactical Planning, including Demand Planning, Finished Goods Import Planning and Distribution/Replenishment Planning and resolving various problems and implementing corrective measures and process improvements Ensuring the right Planning Governance Framework and defined Ways of Working are embedded within the OpCos processes, including homologation and adherence with Heineken Global Standards and Methodologies regarding Planning Capabilities Supporting, participating and being the main source of Insights/data/information for Demand & Supply discussions within Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures for safety, standards and regulations in force and participating in their improvement Processing/creating/modifying/cancelling PO’s and following up on deliveries for all customers Ensuring all orders are compliant with ordering parameters such as MOQ, lead times, loading quantities, and master data (SKUs, Sold-to, Ship-to) for MCBC portfolio Ensuring accurate entry, proofing, maintenance and submission of purchase orders based on the demand, stock replenishment or management direction for IB Portfolio Monitoring and following up on brewery order statuses, ensuring visibility throughout the process, and keeping customers informed of any updates until the orders are shipped Coordinating international and domestic freight to ensure timely delivery, while addressing and resolving issues with shipping lines, origin and destination parties, and freight forwarders Ensuring shipped orders are invoiced accurately and addressing any discrepancies with the Brewery and Finance Team Responsible for reviewing and resolving invoices related to demurrage, detention, storage, trucking, and freight charges by approving, denying, or disputing them Establishing and maintaining regular meeting cadence with all international breweries, customers, and distributors to ensure constant communication flow Regularly reporting to management the status of orders, brewery operations, and the overall end-to-end supply chain network. Effectively communicating any opportunities and the associated action plans to mitigate the identified risk Generating and updating the monthly S&OP process Providing support to the Finance team to ensure all month end, quarter end, and year end reporting are completed on time in accordance with company policies Ensuring the end-to-end keg return process is adhered to by all stakeholders and in accordance with established timelines Validating all keg deposit flows with the Finance Team and sharing relevant reports to key stakeholders Ensuring the accuracy of system data by creating and verifying purchase order details, including product costing, shipping instructions, equipment specifications, etc. Serving as the primary liaison for all New Product Introduction (NPI) inquiries with breweries Managing Main KPIs for Case Fill Rate (On-time/In-full delivery of beer replenishment orders to customers)
Requirements:
Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business, supply chain, production or manufacturing management is required 2-3 years of experience in similar position or in a Supply Chain Planning area (CS&L) is required Knowledge of Demand & Supply Planning, Replenishment & Inventory Planning, Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Sales Operations Planning (S&OP), International trade knowledge is required Knowledge of SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) Very self-driven with a high problem-solving mindset Is proactive and ambitious/eager to learn cross-functionally Has high learning agility and curiosity Possesses remarkable stakeholder management and communication/networking skills Excellent analytical skills, as well as use/interpretation of figures and data skills Has good business sense and understanding Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
