Coordinates all Transportation responsibilities in a manner that optimizes efficiency, helps achieve the mission and goals of the department and Hospital, reduces costs, and results in outstanding customer service. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Articulates and shares comprehensive knowledge of general and specialized Transportation/Dispatch Services practices. · Coordinates all programs related to Transportation department. · Flexible and willing to make changes as deemed necessary, i.e. schedule adjustments or floating. · Maintains positive relationships by appropriately communicating information, evident by no more than one complaint in six (6) month intra-departmentally. Accountable for personal conduct, promotes and contributes positively to inter-departmental relationships with no more than two (2) complaints in a six (6) month period. · Research viability of new technology for Patient Transport. · Understands and implements the regulatory requirements of Transportation program. Monitors effectiveness of programs deployed. · Regularly meets with customers about customer service (i.e. surveys). · Takes charge and responds appropriately to unexpected situations. Uses correct tone of voice, stance and non-defensive/offensive language. · Manages employees and staff Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead, leadership, supervisor or related role with customer service experience; preferably in a hospital setting EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Systems, with current experience in medical field LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: · BLS LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED: · Current certifications in medical field This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
