Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by a Farm, Student Housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Cafe, Barbershop and Church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, and athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more), Canyon State has it all!  

Pay: $16.00 an hour

What you will do:

The Transportation Officer works as a member of the Student Services Team. Primarily responsible for transporting students to and from the site for off-site appointments.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ 1 year of working in a child welfare or agency setting ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver's license and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years. CDL LICENSE HOLDERS WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO DRIVE BUSES AND LARGE VANS ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
