-Under light supervision, gathers, compiles, and analyzes transportation, safety, demographic, economic, land use, and/or environmental data to use on a variety of transportation operations, planning, and policy-related projects.
-Leads the development of transportation policy studies, including coordination with Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Districts.
-Leads the development of transportation corridor studies.
-Assists in research and coordination with FDOT Districts and other agencies on legislative policies.
-Assists in the development of GIS-based mapping and data analysis.
-Leverages transportation systems, models, simulations, and data to prepare basic to high-complexity studies of existing or proposed transportation systems.
-Creates transportation surveys, exhibits, and other meeting materials as necessary to facilitate public and stakeholder input.
-Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff.
-Mentors more junior staff and develops them for future growth within the discipline and firm.
