This is your chance to make a significant impact on a global scale, while contributing to the continued success of our operations. **What You’ll Do:** + **Manage Daily Shipping Loads:** Collect and analyze shipping load requirements from multiple sources, including IBTs, purchase orders, and bills of lading, to ensure timely and efficient transportation. + **Coordinate Transportation:** Schedule and manage transportation using both Company Transportation Drivers and Common Carriers, leveraging SAP Transportation Management System (TMS) and manual processes. + **Optimize Freight:** Utilize PC-based data products to optimize routing schedules, plant dock times, and reduce freight costs while maximizing equipment and driver utilization. + **Build Partnerships:** Work collaboratively with carriers to exchange performance reports and establish mutually beneficial relationships, ensuring on-time delivery. + **Monitor Fleet and Compliance:** Oversee continuous movement of goods between Company locations, manage schedules for Company Transport Drivers, and perform compliance audits to ensure payload and equipment efficiency. + **Resolve Issues:** Communicate with Company locations and carriers to resolve any issues related to product movement, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. **Who You Are:** + **Qualifications:** + 10+ years of experience in transportation planning or a related role within the supply chain or logistics industry. + Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) such as SAP and experience with email, phone communication, and manual processes for tendering loads. + Proficient in PC-based data products and transportation routing optimization. + **Skills & Experience:** + Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines. + Strong communication skills for building relationships with carriers and coordinating with internal teams. + Experience in transportation compliance audits and capacity management. **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech Commercial, we understand that our success relies on the expertise and dedication of our team.
