Job Description

 Albemarle is hiring for a Transportation Planning & Coordinator - Logistics. This position is hybrid and located in Budapest. 

What You Will Do

To be considered for this role you will have recent experience directly supporting Supply Chain Operations and Logistics with SAP experience conducting a wide variety of TM (Transportation Management) and OTC (Order To Cash) transactions. In this role you will support supply chain operations in the region utilizing best in class service level for internal/external customers. You will support open order management in the SAP S/4 and Transportation Management -TM - Module. 

This position also supports daily regional logistics activities (as it relates to escalation and resolution of service issues) involving the storage and transport of non-hazardous and hazardous package and bulk products via all available modes in support of Albemarle’s customers and businesses. Your goal is to assure logistics standards are maintained and service integrity is preserved. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role

Support TM Master Data entry and the management of master data in SAPFreight and Logistics Settlement issue and exception resolutionSupport Order-to-Cash (OTC - Customer Service) and Site Logistics to resolve issues with SAP TM and general open order management issues related to Logistics service failures in the EM TM module.Consult with operations and OTC on better operational procedures to improve overall efficiency, service and costStrong communication and customer focus skills are required to develop partnerships with internal and external customers and suppliersPlan shipments to our customers using SAP/TM PlatformBuild relationships with transportation carriers to ensure a high level of service to customersApplying the judgement, responsibility, initiative, economic and critical thinking skills, and sense of urgency necessary to generate the greatest contributionDemonstrate teamwork skills, ability to multi-task, take initiative and ask questions for a deeper understanding of assigned responsibilitiesRoot cause and corrective action mindsetEnsure all businesses and customers are proactively and fully informed of cargo status by keeping up to date in the systems and supplying appropriate information

What You Bring

Required:

Logistics, OTC or Customer Service Experience

Experience in data entry and data management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Data driven, addresses partner and customer needs

Strong sense of urgency and follow through

Ability to plan and prioritize work

Proficient User of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

English - Advanced language skills

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Minimum of 3 year of relevant or similar work experience in SAP

Ability to participate in cross-functional, team-oriented environment

Ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership internally and externally

Ability to interact with other cultures

German language skills
