HDR is currently seeking a Transportation Project Manager to work as a member of our Roadway Design Team in Michigan.
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Transportation Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline highway and/or local road projects in the preparation of plans, specifications and estimate for projects of various sizes and complexityIndependently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project's developmentEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staffCoordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on scheduleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to scheduleWork with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as neededPerform other duties as needed#LI-BS1
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required7 years related experienceA minimum 2 years project management experiencePE licenseMS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred Qualifications
