Primary Responsibilities
This position will work as a key member of a highway/roadway design team for moderate to large projects and work independently on smaller projects.
In the role ofTransportation Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
Plan, and manage, and track all aspects of small to medium multi-disciplineprojectsIndependently coordinate work of other professionalsCoordinate team throughout entire project's developmentEstablish client relations and assist contractual, planning, design and constructionmeetingsParticipate in reviews with various disciplines and governing agenciesConduct work sessions for design development and contract executionCoordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule and within budgetTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure work is completed withinagreed-to parametersWork with Business/Accounting Leadership for project reviewsPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications
Professional Engineering License, AICP Planning Certification, or ability to obtainPMP certificationExperience managing projects for DOT or MunicipalityWillingness to work full time on-site and Client or Project OfficesFamiliarity with Microstation, Open Roads, Geopak and/or Inroads, or similar#LI-EH1
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field7 years related experienceA minimum of 2 years project management experienceMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
