The primary duties of the Transportation Project Manager to serve in a project manager and technical role, on the engineering development of urban and rural highway/roadway projects. The duties will include overseeing the preparation of plans, specifications and estimate for multi-disciplinary projects including for CDOT, Local Agencies, and other clients. This work includes overseeing the work of CAD Designers and EITs and training/mentoring junior staff. Project involvement will range from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phase. Experience should include urban and rural highways and interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout, and CAD base alignment plans. Coordination of survey, grading, drainage and utilities and layout of various site items is a plus. Will have a fair amount of client interaction.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred 10 years’ experience in highway and municipal roadway designPreferred 2-4 years of project management experienceExperience with CDOT and Colorado municipal roadway projectsExperience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3DExperience with fostering client relationships and leading pursuit efforts. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experience A minimum 2 years project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
