The Transportation segment includes a wide variety of public sector clients and disciplines including roadway and traffic design. Starting with an existing strong base of clients and projects, the Transportation Project Manager will be expected to maintain and build upon that base to expand the practice.   

  

 

Your Role: 

Ensure projects are executed in a quality manner, consistent with contract requirements, and in accordance with the company’s standards and quality management processes and procedures.  Take a primary role within the transportation group in achieving annual business plan goals for business development and operations metrics such as sales, utilization, revenue, profitability and invoicing.  Actively participate in developing the annual business plan for the group  Supervise and control project activities and monitor progress and performance. 

  

  

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required   Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas; or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.  10+ years of experience in transportation field  Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record  Experience preparing preliminary engineering documents and schematics.  Proficiency managing budgets and PS&E preparation for transportation projects for various clients and governmental agencies.  Experience in heading project teams, including subconsultants, in performing transportation design of highways and roadways is required.  Experience conducting regular project review and oversight of quality control on all assigned projects is required.  Experience and participation in opportunity pursuits, developing and preparing proposals, including business development, and public relations activities within the state of Texas.  Experience working with OpenRoads, GEOPAK and MicroStation files, preferred  TxDOT experience preferred, with appropriate pre-certifications.  This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more
