What You Will Do:
You will support the LATAM Transportation team’s objectives by driving cost optimization and efficiency improvements in transportation operations. You will establish and manage carrier portfolios for inbound and outbound shipments, set routing guidelines, and foster key regional carrier relationships while serving as an escalation point. You will define and implement operational best practices, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, including dangerous goods handling. Additionally, you will measure carrier and internal compliance with SLAs and policies, leveraging data insights to drive continuous improvement.
Develop innovative cost-saving and process improving solutions through the analysis of various types of cross-divisional transportation related data.
Ensure divisional and supplier compliance with routing guide and corporate contracts. Identify opportunities to gain supply chain efficiencies
Evaluate and recommend scalable scenarios that facilitate regional growth and add customer value. Support business initiatives through completion of ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests.
Work closely with the global trade compliance team. Analyze across all modes including air freight, ocean, parcel, LTL, truckload, dedicated fleet, etc.
Setup and integrate acquisitions into current transportation operations, setting up accounts and re-evaluating the network as necessary. Use targeted metrics to improve transportation awareness - quality, carrier performance and spend.
What you need:
Bachelor’s Degree
Advanced English and Spanish level
Relevant experience, including in transportation
Strong programming skills, with mandatory proficiency in SQL and experience in Python as a plus
Project management experience.
Experience pulling together monthly metrics and reporting.
Deep understanding of transportation principles, pricing, and methods for identifying cost savings.
Travel Percentage: 10%
