We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transportation Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our transportation department. The ideal candidate will manage a team of 12 to 15 drivers, ensure safety and security compliances, route structures and development and maintain the highest level of customer service.

DUTIES:

Responsible for training, recruiting, counseling, coaching, disciplinary action and writing reviews, process and approve payroll, time off requests and exceptions.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and transportation laws.

Monitor and improve transportation efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation performance.

Manage driver schedules, ensure optimal routing, and load planning.

REQUIREMENTS:

3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in transportation or logistics

Must have a valid non CDL driving license and must be able to pass a DOT physical

Must be able to pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check

Strong leadership and communication skills

Strong analytical and forecasting skills

Proficient in using transportation management software, Google apps, and MS Office Suite.
