Position Overview:
We are adding a Transportation Supervisor who will plan and schedule all rail car movement and maintenance activities around the facility. In this key role you will work closely with production to ensure that all deliveries are made on time, and all equipment is maintained to maximize uptime.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Manages organization unit(s) assigned and leads and/or coordinates dedicated Professionals and Staff. Ensures optimum machine utilization and scheduling for all rail car/component movement around the facility for on time delivery. Contributes to planning, scheduling and supervision of all maintenance and contractor work orders. Implements defined superior policies and guidelines, and defines and ensures implementation of function specific processes, procedures, methods and/or tools. Ensures adherence at any time to relevant internal and local EHS-standards. Ensures availability of working instructions, rules and guidelines equipment utilized for transportation Evaluates and contributes to implementation of maintenance programs. Develop and implement measures to improve production efficiency, equipment performance, and product quality.To thrive in this role, you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline 8 years’ experience planning and scheduling for complex assembly lines for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies 5 years’ experience managing a team in an industrial manufacturing setting.We would be impressed if you had:

The base salary range for this position in Lexington, NC is $100,100 – $135,100. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications. The annual incentive target is 5% of the base salary.
