Responsibilities Task management of transportation design projects.Roadway design.Monitor budgets and schedules.Assist with and collaboration with team members on the marketing of new projects.Interface with clients.Collaborate with other Dewberry offices on design projects.Prepare work zone traffic control plans (i.e. transportation management plans).Prepare signing and pavement marking plans and traffic signal plans as well as perform traffic analyses. Required Skills & Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.NC PE required or ability to obtain NC licensure based upon PE license in another state.Minimum 4 years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering. Experience in the design of highways and roads, preferably in North Carolina.Experience preparing transportation management plans and temporary traffic control plans.Experience using MicroStation.Experience using traffic analysis software such as Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS and SIDRA desired.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.Task management or project management experience preferred.Design-build experience desired.
