Transports patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the facility.  Monitors room turnovers, patient release times.  Cleans operating rooms before cases start and assists with room turnover between cases.  Stocks supplies throughout the day.  Completes terminal cleaning at end of the day.  Purges expired products.

Reports to:  Director of Surgical Services

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Work Experience
Previous hospital experience preferred.
