We are seeking a dedicated leader to manage and optimize our trauma services program at MercyOne Northeast Iowa. This role is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary efforts to enhance trauma care across the continuum, ensuring compliance with our desired trauma care facility verification level. Acting as a vital liaison between Emergency Services and other departments, both within and outside our organization, you will develop trauma policies, oversee performance improvement initiatives, and lead the Iowa Trauma System application and re-verification process. Additionally, you will respond to Trauma Alerts during normal hours, supporting the team with documentation and clinical assistance as needed. Join us in upholding the mission, vision, and values of MercyOne while making a meaningful impact on patient care. **Schedule:** + Full Time + 40 Hours + Day Shift **Education:** + Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred. + Current Iowa RN license, BLS, Mandatory Reporter. + Current Iowa RN license, BLS, ACLS, TNCC and PALS required; instructor status for at least one trauma education course; EMT and CEN preferred. Mandatory Reporter. ENA member + Minimum of 3 years emergency service experience.
