Trauma Program Manager, RN (Cary)
Overview Responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating functions for Trauma Services and supports the integration of services of the hospital into the continuum of care for the trauma patient. This integration includes pre-hospital, emergency, critical care, step-down, acute care, rehabilitation, social work, substance abuse, case management, therapies and Mobile Care Services. Coordinates the compliance efforts with the ACS Trauma Center Designation Criterion and maintains care consistent with national standards. Responsible for the state designation by the NC Office of Emergency Management Services and assures adherence to all state program requirements. Optimizes hospital resources in a cost-effective manner. Responsible for the data entered into the trauma registry. In collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director, leads Trauma Registry, Injury Prevention, and Performance Improvement for the Cary Hospital Trauma Program. In addition, the position ensures appropriate support and activity with CapRAC and STAC.
