Harborview Medical Center has an opportunity for a **Trauma Care Nurse Coordinator** (Registered Nurse).
The Trauma Care Nurse Coordinator supports the continuum of trauma patient care, advocates for clinical practice guideline compliance, and facilitates quality improvement/assurance practices.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Collaborates with inpatient trauma clinical, registry, and QI teams
+ Ensures concurrent patient monitoring to identify quality assurance or improvement issues
+ Implements necessary corrective measures to return patient to expected care pathways
+ Assist with coordination of care
+ Timely notification of any identified quality outcomes, measures to appropriate personnel, patient chart data abstraction
+ Entry into Trauma Registry **SCHEDULE**
+ 100% Day Shift- _ONSITE_ **REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Constructive communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary trauma care teams
+ Clinical expertise in the care of trauma patients
+ Expert knowledge of trauma practice guidelines, protocols, and standards of care
+ Experiences with process and quality improvement
+ Competence in data entry, MS window suite, and database systems
+ Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
+ Have/obtain a license to practice as an RN in the state of Washington
+ Three or more years of professional nursing practice (Trauma, General Surgery, Critical Acute Care, and Emergency Services)
