**Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Provider**
CHI Health – Creighton University Medical Center is in the midst of growth in Trauma Surgery and we invite YOU to be a part of it.
At Creighton University Medical Center, we are transitioning to 24/7 Advanced Practice Provider Coverage for our Trauma Service. Duties include responding to Trauma Activations, assisting with new patient consults, and managing concerns for the patients admitted to our service. We are hiring two Advanced Practice Providers to cover the night shift to work either 3x12 or 4x10.
The ideal candidate would round on hospitalized patients, providing critical care assessments in pre and post-operative surgery and hospitalized patients. The clinician will be an integral member of the Trauma Critical Care Unit Team, working with the attending physicians and other staff, providing necessary information for team-based care decision making.
This exceptional position is for **Night Shift** , joining another member to work either the weekend or weekday:
Additional Details of the Opportunity:
+ Attend Trauma Activations
+ See new patient consults in the ED as well as inpatient consults from other service lines.
+ Help with Emergency Department patient throughput and discharging trauma patients from the ED.
+ Preparing admitted patients for next-day discharge
+ Taking calls from nursing and other staff regarding patient concerns on both the inpatient units and in the Emergency Department
+ Managing treatment plans and reviewing charts in accordance with Trauma protocol guidelines.

**Responsibilities**

**Qualifications**
+ American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
+ A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
**Pay Range**
$66.26 - $77.97 /hour
