SHI is seeking a Travel and Expense Administrator to join our rapidly growing Accounting Department. This position will be responsible for educating employees about the Travel and Expense (T&E) program, Concur Expense system, and Credit Card/Gas Card program.  The role requires partnering with other members in the Accounting Department, as well as the broader organization. 

This is a remote position, reporting to the Travel and Expense Team Lead.  Training will be provided.

Include, but not limited to:

Ensure timely processing of all employee expense reimbursements and company card transactionsAssist Team Lead in improving forms, processes, and procedures to streamline the expense reimbursement processReview documentation provided to ensure expenses are appropriate and fit within company guidelinesAddress concerns and non-compliance issues with diplomacy and tact by working with individuals to reach reconciliationEffectively explain to customers the origin of and reasoning behind key policies, practices, and proceduresProvide colleagues with helpful information to prevent future issuesAppropriately inform management of any concerns or unresolved issues after initial resolution attemptProcess and reconcile the Company Corporate Credit Card/Gas Card programEnsure proper reporting, posting, approval, and coding of program expenditures, and proper usage of corporate cardsAssist with system upgrades, modifications, and implementations of any related software or system integrationsActively participate in ongoing system evaluations and enhancementsAssist with T&E reimbursement training and the ongoing effort to update and improve the travel program and expense reimbursement processAssist with the ongoing effort to update and improve travel and expense policies and proceduresProcessing all travel-related partner invoices for payment in a timely manner Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent/related experiencePrevious experience working with corporate travel and expense policies and proceduresAt least 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams Required Skills Ability to work both individually and in a team environmentAbility to take direction and follow multi-step instructionsAbility to take initiative in regard to identifying process improvementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable communicating with both internal SHI employees and external vendorsStrong presentation skillsStrong organizational skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask and complete tasks with efficiency and accuracyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a consistently heavy workloadAbility to manage time efficiently to meet multiple deadlines

Preferred Skills:

Concur Travel and Expense experience a plus Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $30,000 - $40,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
