**Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Expense Management Specialist to join our sales organization team. In this role, you will be responsible for submitting, managing, and tracking expense reports to ensure accurate financial documentation and timely reimbursements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Expense Report Submission:** Prepare, review, and submit expense reports for the sales organization in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
+ **Expense Tracking:** Maintain accurate records of submitted expenses, ensuring proper documentation and categorization for auditing purposes.
+ **Policy Compliance:** Monitor expense submissions to ensure adherence to corporate policies, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues as needed.
+ **Communication:** Collaborate with sales team members to gather necessary documentation and address inquiries related to expense submissions.
+ **Process Improvement:** Suggest and implement improvements to the expense management process to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
+ **Reporting:** Generate and distribute periodic reports on expense activity and trends to support budget forecasting and analysis.
+ **Corporate Card Account Management:** Reconcile American Express accounts for the sales team, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and aligned with submitted expense reports.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in expense management, accounts payable, or a similar role.
+ **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Concur software and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
+ **Attention to Detail:** Proven ability to manage large volumes of data with accuracy and timeliness.
+ **Organizational Skills:** Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
+ **Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
+ **Problem-Solving:** Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues or inefficiencies in the expense management process.
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role in New York is $50,000-$75,000 and the salary range for the role in New York is $50,000-$75,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
