The Opportunity

As a Travel & Expense GBPS Project Management Specialist within Roche Services & Solutions Business Process Management (BPM) organization, you will report to the T&E Sub-Chapter Lead and contribute to the E2E Business Process Management strategy. You will leverage your project management skills and subject matter expertise to design global, cross-divisional processes, ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions in collaboration with E2E GBPMs and Specialists. Empowered to make decisions for work packages aligned with E2E BPM guardrails, you will contribute to developing business processes, systems configuration, and shared services for corporate Travel & Expense (T&E) management. Your project management skills will be crucial in driving initiatives, ensuring collaborative efforts with various stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, and IT functions.

Responsibilities

Implement the E2E BPM strategy according to guardrails set by the E2E Global Business Process Owner (GBPO) and GBPMs.

Design and overhaul global and cross-divisional processes, ensuring they are state-of-the-art and fit for purpose for dedicated work packages.

Lead project initiatives to deliver comprehensive solutions, including processes, technology, and analytics, while ensuring robust execution and compliance monitoring.

Manage and prioritize change requests and drive related projects in line with the strategic roadmap, with support from GBPM and GBPS teams.

Document process requirements and ensure proper implementation through guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures, providing day-to-day support for business acceptance.

Who you are:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Informatics, Engineering or a comparable education

Significant professional experience, preferably in Project Management, Business Process Management, Finance, Information Management, IT, Procurement.

In-depth understanding of Travel & Expense business process area and demonstrated experience in leading related projects.

Strong technical competencies in SAP FI/CO, SAP Concur and travel & event management systems

Proven methodological skills such as BPM, Six Sigma (DMAIC), agile methodologies (Scrum), continuous improvement (Lean, PDCA, Kaizen)

Agile mindset with an emphasis on speed, stability, flexibility in project execution.

Business fluency in English

Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%
