Travel Industry Marketing Strategy Intern, Summer/Fall 2025

Travel Industry Marketing Strategy leads the Business-to-Business and Business-to-Business-to- Consumer Marketing Strategy, Go-to-Market Approach, and distribution across all Domestic Sales Channels and several third-party relationships for Walt Disney World Resort. We deepen understanding of the product and drive conversion to deliver on business goals. **This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from June 2025 – January 2026.** **What You Will Do** + Partner with various cross-functional teams to ensure our presence across marketing, advertising, and communication channels supports key business objectives + Coordinate and handle a variety of projects to accelerate conversion and drive the business + Execute marketing strategies across multiple Sales Channels + Lead Distribution Marketing projects with internal and/or external creative agencies to go-to-market on time and on budget + Assist with overall distribution of marketing messages + Interpret data to report on effectiveness of campaigns, understand trends, and optimize results. Assist in research, analytics, and providing reports + Assist with building various PowerPoint reports on recent marketing tactic performance and upcoming initiatives + Track industry trends and social-media benchmarks + Support creative efforts, including online and offline collateral development, photo, and video shoots **Required Qualifications & Skills** + Team collaboration and partnership skills + Personal leadership: demonstrate initiative while working independently and balancing multiple priorities + Ability to construct and present a compelling story + Strong verbal, written communication, and project management skills, with a passion for attention to detail and accuracy + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook + Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills while proactively offering ideas and solutions + Strong social media/digital knowledge with an understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous Marketing Internship experience **Education** + Current Junior or Senior year preferred + Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Business or related field **Eligibility Requirements & Program Information** **Candidates for this opportunity** **MUST** **meet all of the below requirements:** + Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at the time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship + Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program. + Be at least 18 years of age + Possess unrestricted work authorization **Additional Information** + Be compliant with The Disney Look (http://disneycasting.net/downloads/wdpr/Disney\_Look\_Book.pdf) appearance guidelines + **Program Length:** The approximate dates of this internship are **June 2025-January 2026** + Fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship and have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship + **Transportation:** Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work + **Florida Housing:** Limited housing opportunities may be available for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information click here **Recommendation – Print This Role Description:** We encourage applicants to print a copy of this role description, so they can refer to it in the event they are selected for a phone interview.
