Travel Oncology Triage RN - Days $2,526 Gross Weekly NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE) Contract Length: 13 weeks Start: ASAP Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs. a week Shift Requirement: 8a-4:30p CST On Call/Call Back Requirement: None Weekend/Holiday Requirement: As scheduled. We are only closed for the major holidays. Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license, BLS/ACLS Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 2 years as an RN, 6 months experience triage minimum, 1 travel assignment preferred. Oncology experience preferred. Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Patient Population: 18-99 years of age. Skillset: Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Phone/Triage RN – vital signs, medication administration, specimen collection, phleb, etc. Unit Information: Medical Oncology/Hematology practice with 7 providers and 5 APPs. They would be coordinating care with established patients calling in or messaging via EMR on symptom management, coordination of appointments/scans, etc. Unit Strengths: Team-work, compassionate, hard-working, patient centered and quality care. Scrub Colors: Navy blue The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implementsand documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The OncologyRegistered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patientsreceive cancer treatments. In hospitalsettings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patienteducation and coordination of their cancer treatments. In outpatient care center settings, theOncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapyand infusions while monitoring patients’ vitals, side effects, and pain.
