40 MILE RADIUS RULE - NO LOCAL CANDIDATES
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36 hours
Shift Requirements: 12hr Variable PMs (11a-11p, 3p-3a) - must be willing to work both shifts
Float Requirements: Floating not required
On Call/Call-Back: No Call
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend & every other holiday
Required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA, PALS, and NIHSS. IN/Compact State License.
Minimum Experience: 3+ years of ER
**Must pass 12 lead EKG and Dysrhythmia exam
Charting/Equipment: Epic preferred (within the past year and will be required to do a checkoff class)
Unit Specific Skillset: Level II Trauma; Prefer pediatric experience
No new travelers - at least one completed assignment required
Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, social candidates.
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
+ Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
