The Travel Services Associate drives the successful implementation of projects. Will manage the integration, coordination, and oversight of processes, procedures and projects that will improve results within the Santander Direct organization. Responsible for maximizing coordination of projects, facilitating timeliness and accuracy, resulting in successful integration of technology, process and procedures.
What You'll Be Doing:
Monitor and respond to requests received in the Corporate Travel email account.
Assist in analyzing data, monitoring, and reporting on corporate travel expenditures and compliance. Contribution to monthly travel metrics reports.
Request travel exceptions and update exception tracker as needed.
Notify management of necessary changes to the Concur Travel online booking tool to ensure travel policy settings are correct, functionality needs are reported, and the user experience is kept optimal.
Troubleshoot customer service issues and assure compliance with our overall corporate travel program and policies. Interact with team members, management, and suppliers to resolve customer service issues. Guide employees through day-to-day travel related issues including policy, travel behavior, compliance improvements, and cost savings best practices.
Monitor travel vendor (air/hotel/car) costs on daily itineraries to ensure the lowest Santander rate or lowest rate available is secured. If not, advise traveler and/or have Dedicated Agent team adjust the rate for cost savings.
Liaison with the Dedicated Agent Team on; travel questions, cost savings availability and opportunities, etc.
Maintain Travel Industry/Supplier knowledge via Travel Industry publications; Business Travel News (BTN), Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), etc.
Make recommendations on travel processes and efficiencies to support Travel Program goals.
Assist travelers with SAP Concur access, tools & resources and general guidance.
