Travel Team Lead
Cultural Care Au Pair is seeking a Travel Team Lead to ensure smooth travel operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive operation excellence to support us in building global families that change the world through the au pair program. Our cultural exchange program builds global families by bringing together au pairs with American host families—providing meaningful childcare for families, an unforgettable year in the U.S.A. for au pairs, and a culturally enriching experience for both parties.  You will join our team in Zurich, reporting to the Senior Director of Travel and working with colleagues and customers across the globe. As Travel Team Lead, you will lead 3 direct reports located in CH and US, and be responsible for overseeing travel operations, ensuring policy adherence, and delivering outstanding support to colleagues and customers. This role demands a proactive leader with strong communication skills, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and a focus on operational efficiency. What you will do:Oversee seamless travel arrangements, including flights and land transportation.Serve as a point of contact to resolve travel-related issues, disruptions, and emergencies promptly.Gather feedback to continuously improve the customer journey and implement changes that elevate satisfaction.Educate employees on travel policies, tools, and best practices.Effectively communicate updates, travel alerts, and procedural changes across the organization.Monitor travel operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies, and address system gaps effectively.Develop and deliver training sessions to ensure understanding and compliance with travel standards.Streamline travel booking processes to enhance the user experience.Develop and implement efficient travel processes to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality service.Analyze key performance reviews and metrics established for team members who report to you, providing actionable insights to drive their growth and improve team performance Who you are:Personal qualificationsYou are a strong communicator who can convey complex travel policies, updates, and alerts clearly to a diverse audience.You love a fast-paced environment and the challenge of a problem to solve—you thrive in managing unexpected challenges, such as delays or cancellations, and provide creative, cost-effective, and timely resolutions.You are customer-focused and can deliver exceptional support in stressful moments due to travel disruptions and emergencies.You are driven by quality and possess an analytical mind that takes feedback and uses it to identify areas for continuous improvement to streamline our booking and travel processes.You pay attention to the details and will be precise in the accuracy of your bookings, itineraries, and system checks.You spend smartly and monitor expenses to identify innovative cost-saving opportunities that don’t compromise on quality.
