**Overview** Join our new Upper Midwest Internal Travel Program! As a Surgical Services/OR RN in our Travel Program throughout our Midwest locations at CHI Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health, you will prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist in the operating room to ensure they receive excellent nursing when they are at their most vulnerable. Every day you will go over consent forms, answer questions about the procedure, do preoperative assessments, make sure the equipment is ready to go, and update family members on the surgery status during the operation. You will be expected to directly assist the surgeon during the actual surgery. To be successful in this role you must have the ability to maintain focus while multitasking, remain calm under pressure, and exercise good judgment in emergency situations. The Midwest Internal Travel Program is a skilled workforce pool of CHI Health clinicians who take temporary assignments throughout 29 hospitals across the Midwest Division, in North Dakota, Minnesota, and occasionally in Nebraska and Iowa. The assignments will be based on patient need with our travelers going where staff is needed most. Cross state licensure requirements apply for cross-state travel + 12-18 months of nursing experience in acute care. + American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) . + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and any certification that applies to your specialty required within five (5) months of starting. **Pay Range** $36.00 - $52.20 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
